As many of you may already know, Member of Parliament for Fredericton, Andy Scott is holding a public forum on whether or not same-sex marriage should be legal in Canada. The info. is below. Please plan to attend this vital meeting to defend traditional marriage. Please invite others to attend as well. For those of you not in the Fredericton constituent receiving this email, please contact your family and friends in the area about the meeting. Your presence will be seen as a vote in favour of and in honour of the traditional family unit. The opposing side will certainly be there.

The attached file is a copy of the Justice Committee's schedule for hearings across Canada. Please find your city and request being able to address the Committee. As you know, most marriage ceremonies are still performed by clergy within the church walls. If the definition of marriage is changed to include any two people (including those of the same-sex) we believe that clergy and churches who refuse to participate in such events may be charged with discrimination. We, as Canadians and Christians, can and must make our voices heard. Please pray and plan to participate.

The federal government is asking Canadians whether or not marriage (and its definition) should include same-sex relationships. Now is the time for God’s people to take a stand on the subject of same-sex marriage. Plan to attend this forum and encourage as many as you can to attend as well.
