Liberal response to Canada Family Action Coalition questionnaire:

  1. NO

  2. Currently individual clergy can refuse to marry a couple for a variety of reasons.
    We do not foresee any change in this practice.

  3. This question touches on a variety of very complex issues respecting personal beliefs of individuals.
    Similarly should issues of this nature arise before the Legislative Assembly members of the Liberal caucus will be free to vote according to their own personal belief.

  4. UNCERTAIN

  5. Any vote on Sunday shopping will be a free vote in the Legislative Assembly. Whatever the outcome, New Brunswick workers’ right to days off will continue to be protected under the Employment Standards Act in our province.

  6. The Liberal Party is not entertaining any plans to introduce casinos to the Province of New Brunswick at this time.
