It is amazing just
how very 'spinney' some radical activists can spin facts.
In the linked column, Lori Arron says the reason an
MP is getting few calls from constituents that do not
want marriage re-debated is because only the radical
view people are calling. What a intentionally deceptive
spin.
The reason is that
65% of Canadians know that real marriage is only between
a man and woman. A COMPAS poll (http://familyaction.org/PDFs/COMPASpoll.pdf)
proved this figure in a survey conducted just 4 weeks
ago. For people like Arron to suggest that those Canadians
have a radical view of the foundation institution of
marriage is demeaning and foolish. But then radicals
will use false arguments and deception whenever they
cannot win the debate any other way.
This is only one
MP who has had many calls demanding that marriage be
reopened for debate and correction. If MPs would actually
represent the views of the people who elect them and
pay them, then the upcoming vote would be for reopening
this matter.
