Canadians are witnessing a meltdown.
Democratic freedom, and moral standards are being removed
from society.
Today,
May 18 shows us a meltdown event. The "election gag"
law is the most recent violation of freedoms. Elections
are about free debate of issues and even parties. But
in Canada this is not so any longer. The Liberal government,
Elections Canada, and now the Supreme Court have colluded
to ensure most Canadians are oppressed by placing restrictions
on "third party" election spending. Third party
is a discriminatory term but one the above parties feel
justified in using. Canadians are now categorized in this
law and restricted in their ability to voice an opinion.
Bill C 250 also did this recently.
There is a tie to these laws and other matters we have
witnessed in this nation recently. Fraud, stealing, lies,
unethical actions, cover ups, misuse of Parliamentary
procedure and even misuse of the Charter.
Canadians need to ask the question about the character
of those involved in these things. What personal character
allows one to use injustice or commit illegal acts - and
then defend oneself when exposed. What level of irrational
thought and moral meltdown does it take to continue promoting
those behaviours even after they have been exposed?
We
should be asking questions about those persons character.
What are his or her foundational values? What if
any actions would be objectionable to such an individual?
Do they hold to any boundary for unacceptable actions?
We
could ask also, why would there be so many people in leadership
that fall into this pattern in recent times? Perhaps we
need to look only at our educational system which is guilty
of a type of fraud and lying. What is promoting "safe
sex", evolution and "relative" values as
fact and truth if not fraud and lies. Proof on all these
issues show that to continue to "teach" this
is promoting false information. So perhaps it should not
surprise us that we are now reaping the rewards of teaching
lies as truth. Those who are trained (perhaps I should
say indoctrinated) in this system will usually continue
perpetrating what they have been told to be true.
But
it is encouraging to see more and more individuals being
exposed. I could get specific, but its unnecessary.
Media has covered many recent examples of political scandal,
corporate crookedness, and personal destruction. And we
will continue to see more similar news stories until society
collectively realizes that violating basic moral values
and principles produces negative consequences.
Perhaps
political parties will wake up to this fact also. Recent
exposures of corruption in the Liberal Party ought to
exact a heavy price on the party. But that will only occur
when people start demanding moral decency and honesty
from their political leaders. Personal indiscretions by
politicians should also have consequences. When a politician
admits to stealing a valuable piece of property, but is
not charged, society is clearly experiencing a meltdown
of justice. Society is thrust down a dangerous path when
the justice system turns a blind eye to overt criminal
acts for some but not all. This clearly signifies a meltdown
of morality and justice.
Our
hope for a civil society remains with those who stridently
oppose criminal and immoral behaviour in our political
, judicial, business, and even spiritual leaders. We must
replace leaders who have demonstrated their indiscretions
with men and women of integrity, who will uphold a standard
of honesty and decency for the benefit of all society.
Are
you one of those who, through your inaction, will allow
the meltdown to continue? Or, will you be one to raise
the standard for ALL Canadians.
Election
time is a time of testing the moral fabric of a democratic
society. You can vote for men and women of standard and
principle or you may cast your support for the continuation
of decline and meltdown. Those who refuse to vote are
casting their support in favor of the latter.
